Hangover 2 Trailer Banned from Movie Theaters

The new and upcoming movie, the Hangover 2 has experienced some obstacles in its marketing.  The movies trailer has been banned in movie theaters because the content was deemed inappropriate by the MPAA because of slight language.
The trailer played with the new movie "Source Code" but was quickly taken away.  Warner Bros. was ordered to get the trailer out of all movie theaters and destroy the prints of the trailer.

I have to say that this is slightly ridiculous, considering that the trailer was put along with a PG-13 movie in the first place, which already has the same "inappropriate Content".  I also don't understand why the MPAA felt the need to get rid of the trailer, when it is perfectly capable of being accessed on websites, such as YouTube, where all people, not just those who can get into a PG-13 movie, can view it.

  1. Im going to agree with you. I just watched the trailer and it seems absurd that the MPAA would rid of the trailer. I think that I have seen many worse trailers for PG-13 movies than that.

  2. I also agree that removing this trailer from the movie theaters is quite ridiculous. It's not nearly as bad as some trailers out there and it's especially odd considering people can access it pretty much anywhere else.

  3. I agree with you that banning the trailer was uncalled for. Personally, I believe, that if they really needed to remove the trailer, they should have just changed the rating of the movie.
